CHAPTER 14 : Cameron Green

Coming Friday: Cameron finally gets to work, and it’s a bit…distracting. Also, I have do some pondering what how easily it is to clock a woman writing a male character, and whether the tools for doing it are outdated.

She's gazing at me intently, and when our eyes meet, the corners of her mouth turn up in a slow smile that sends a jolt of heat right through me. It takes me back to that moment in the car with her—
-her mouth
crashing into mine, her hand, the same one I'm now holding, sliding up my chest.
How in the h--- am I supposed to get any work done?

CHAPTER 12 : Asagawa Kenji

Experimented with an alternative version of the chapter too–a little light haiku. In the full chapter, Kenji is getting up to hijinks. So many hijinks. He should perhaps consider fewer hijinks.

CHAPTER 11 : Cameron Green

This chapter: Cameron starts a new job and a new side-gig. Both have a few red flags.
